19 and 20 September will be a weekend packed with music, get-togethers, family attractions and unique experiences. To mark Fabryka Norblina’s 5th birthday, we invite you to join us for two days of celebrations, during which the entire complex will be filled with concerts, workshops, entertainment, competitions with prizes, retro-themed events and attractions organised by our tenants. There will also be a special musical project created to mark the complex’s anniversary, the family-friendly Smart Kids Planet zone and plenty of surprises for guests.

Kid Lupe’s Discovery Zone
What does the world look like when viewed under a powerful magnifying glass? In a special area equipped with microscopes, children will take on the role of young researchers and discover the fascinating details of nature and everyday objects. It’s a great opportunity to nurture their curiosity about the world and see for themselves that science can be full of surprises.
Make-up Zone
Colourful face painting and glitter tattoos will allow the little ones to transform into their favourite animals, superheroes or fantasy characters. These eye-catching designs will make for a unique souvenir of Norblin Factory’s 5th birthday.
Toddler Zone
A safe space designed with our youngest visitors in mind. Sensory games and activities that support the development of motor skills and children’s imagination will allow whole families to spend quality time together.
Let’s build with MAGNA-TILES
Colourful magnetic blocks, plenty of imagination and endless possibilities! Little builders will be able to create castles, vehicles and fantastic cities, developing their creativity and logical thinking.
Coding with Robo Snail
Taking your first steps into the world of programming? Let’s do it through play! Children will plan Robo Snail’s route, learning logical thinking and problem-solving without using a computer.
A galaxy in a jar
During these creative workshops, participants will create their own miniature universe enclosed in a jar, which they will take home as a birthday keepsake.

A unique musical feast organised especially to mark the 5th anniversary of Fabryka Norblina. Five artists will come together on one stage to create a one-of-a-kind musical project inspired by the jam session format. To mark the complex’s anniversary, the following artists will be performing: Ania Karwan, Igor Herbut, Livka, Kacper Andrzejewski and Paula Roma.
10.00 pm | After-party at Gimlet LIVE, Food Town
The evening will round off with a party featuring the band Carol Markovsky & DJ Gris.

Retro headbands – creative workshops
Colourful accessories, pom-poms and plenty of imagination – children will create their own headbands inspired by the atmosphere of old Warsaw.
Elegant bow ties – creative workshops
During the workshops, the youngest participants will decorate their own bow ties, creating unique retro-style accessories.

Workshops and guided tours at the Norblin Factory Museum
Throughout the day, the Norblin Factory Museum will be offering free guided tours entitled ‘The Norblin Factory in a Nutshell’, taking place every 30 minutes between 10.00 and 15.30. At the museum’s stand, younger visitors will be able to take part in activities and the ‘Master’s Mark: Stamping and Hallmarking’ workshop, during which they will learn about the technique of hallmarking metal plates, see authentic hallmarks and listen to the story ‘An Adventure in the Factory’ presented in the form of a Kamishibai theatre performance.
The Museum of Life in the People’s Republic of Poland
The Museum of Life in the People’s Republic of Poland, in collaboration with Adventure Warsaw, will transport visitors back to the days when the distinctive Nysa 522 cars were a common sight on the streets of Warsaw. The vintage car will be parked right in the heart of the Norblin Factory, inviting visitors to solve a mystery hidden in a suitcase full of artefacts from the People’s Republic of Poland era. Right next to it will be a unique recreation of a flat straight out of bygone decades. This is an opportunity to recall – or discover for the first time – what everyday life was like in Poland several decades ago.
Interactive railway with the Museum Station
The Museum Station will invite visitors into the world of railways, science and fun. Visitors can look forward to an interactive model railway featuring exercise bikes, which will power the trains using their own muscle power. The attraction will be complemented by the ‘Physics on the Railway’ zone, where children and adults can carry out simple experiments themselves, discovering the relationships between energy, motion and the laws of physics.
“Fruit Piano” from the Warsaw Gasworks Museum
Can a banana become a piano key? During these open workshops, participants will discover how, thanks to Makey Makey technology, fruit and vegetables can be transformed into an extraordinary musical instrument. It’s a creative activity combining learning, experimentation and music, which engages both children and adults.
14:00–16:00 | Parades and a brass band concert, the streets of the Norblin Factory
Musical parades will pass through the complex, accompanied by a concert performed by a brass band.
17.00 | Dance with the Warsaw Sentimental Orchestra, Teodor Werner Passage
The anniversary weekend will culminate in a dance party to the rhythm of pre-war hits, featuring the Warsaw Sentimental Orchestra.
Attractions all weekend long
Over the course of two days, visitors can also look forward to special offers from the tenants at Fabryka Norblina, accompanying events and plenty of surprises. This is the perfect opportunity to celebrate together the fifth anniversary of a venue which, since its opening, has become one of the most popular destinations in Warsaw.
Birthday concert
Saturday evening, 19 September, will be the culmination of the unique musical project ‘Warsaw Sound Factory’ – a concert organised especially to mark the anniversary of our complex.
Ania Karwan, Igor Herbut, Livka, Kacper Andrzejewski and Paula Roma will come together on one stage to create an event based on improvisation, creative dialogue and musical spontaneity. The project is inspired by the classic jam session format, in which artists respond to one another’s ideas, creating unique live arrangements.
Free tickets will be available starting September 7.
In the days leading up to the concert, the musicians will work together on a repertoire comprising both their own compositions and fresh interpretations of songs about Warsaw, as well as timeless pieces by legends of Polish music. However, the concert’s final form will only take shape on stage – without a set script and with complete freedom for artistic improvisation. Thanks to this, each piece will sound exactly as it does on that one evening.
The concert will be broadcast at Uliczka Norblina, KinoGram, Food Town and Uwaga Piwo.
After party
After the concert, from 10.00 pm, join us for a birthday after-party at Gimlet LIVE, featuring a performance by Carol Markovsky, with DJ GRIS providing the beats.
An exhibition on the regeneration of the Norblin Factory

We invite you to a photographic exhibition documenting the journey this site has undergone prior to its reopening in September 2021. Fifty-four photographs taken between 2008 and 2020 show the successive stages of preparation and regeneration – from the post-industrial site and the preservation of historic buildings, through spectacular construction works, to the moment when the historic fabric began to blend with contemporary architecture. It is a record of an extraordinary transformation and the immense amount of work that has made the over 250-year history of the former factory the foundation of the Norblin Factory as we know it today.
