Also on Saturday, 23 September, children can take part in a series of puzzles from Norblin Factory Museum. The puzzles focus on the history of Norblin Factory which goes back to the time of the last king of Poland. Who was he? Why is he connected to the history of our complex? Kids can find out all about it this during Saturday’s games. This is a great attraction for every small and big brainiac. The little ones will solve many riddles and turn into factory craftsmen or builders trying to recreate the factory walls with Jenga bricks.
Birthday city game with prizes
Puzzle lovers can participate in a special birthday city game introducing them to the complex and its history. Fill in an interactive form and solve 15 puzzles on the birthday Saturday and Sunday.
Once you have completed the quiz, you will receive your score by email. If you have the maximum score of 15 points, come to the “Tickets/Info” desk in Ludwik Norblin Street on the birthday weekend between 12:00 and 19:00 and collect your surprise prize!
Modern circus show – HUMANS
“HUMANS” by the INC Collective is an acrobatic and juggling performance about the vibrant place that is Norblin Factory. This location is created by all the people who work here, spend their leisure time, participate in events. They may seem all the same at first glance, but each of them is a character with a different history, interests, rituals, and habits. The factory teems with THEIR lives.
The INC Collective’s performance is a combination of juggling, acrobatics, highline, dance in the air, and object manipulation.
LemOn concert
The star of the birthday Saturday is LemON, formed in 2011 by singer and songwriter Igor Herbut. The band has recorded four studio albums which have won gold, platinum and double platinum, and two of them were nominated for Fryderyk awards.
The band’s music videos have been viewed almost 100 million times. LemON has played almost a thousand concerts, both on small club stages and in front of audiences of several thousand people (Woodstock, Wembley Arena, European Stadium of Culture), and has won many awards at the leading television festivals (Sopot, Opole, EMA, Must Be The Music). LemOn’s concert will be preceded by a performance by the Music MasterClass scholarship holders at 19:00 and a competition with prizes – admission to this part of the birthday party requires registration via the Norblin Factory application.
Touring Norblin Factory Museum
Norblin Factory Museum stands for 240 years of history teeming in the heart of Wola. The two-hectare site contains 10 historic buildings, 50 machines and equipment, and an impressive collection of silver-plated metalware commonly known as “plater”. Participants in the Norblin Factory’s second birthday celebrations will discover the story of Franciszek Ryx, butler to the last king of Poland, as well as the illustrious Norblin and Werner families. Guests will be taken on a journey through time by actors who play the role of the factory’s former owners and take visitors on a tour around their estate, and by city guides. Tours are available at 12:00, 12:20, 12:40, 13:00, 13:20, 13:40, 14:20, 14:40, 15:00, 15:20.

Retro Warsaw tours
Who would not want, at least for a while, to move to the Warsaw of the inter-war period, when carriages drove on the streets, biplanes flew in the sky, and the songs of Hanka Ordonówna and Mieczysław Fogg sounded all around? Guests at the Norblin Factory’s second birthday party have the opportunity to do just that! “Retro Warsaw” is a thrilling immersive journey through time and space. Like a time machine, it transports you to the pre-war capital, immersing viewers in digitally animated images, vivid colours, music and the sounds of everyday life. The multisensory exhibition at Art Box Experience has been prepared using archive materials carefully selected by varsavianists, museum professionals, and education experts. Warsaw Sentimental Orchestra
On Sunday afternoon, the Warsaw Sentimental Orchestra will give a birthday performance for the guests of Norblin Factory. This is an ensemble with a taste for the old melodies of Polish pre-war revue and cabaret. Touching waltzes, passionate tangos, lively polkas, exciting foxtrots, rumbas and slow-foxes – the artists pick the best from the wealth of stage and screen of the 1920s and post-war era. In their interpretations of timeless tunes, they retain their charm and aesthetics while adding a touch of contemporary musical sensibility. They constantly draw inspiration from songs in the repertoire of Adam Aston, Wiera Gran and Mieczysław Fogg, arrangements by Wars and Rostworowski, and classical performances by Gold and Petersburski, Karasiński and Kataszek.
Modern Circus Show.
Breath. Movement. Rhythm.
The INC collective and the Norblin Factory Foundation invite you to a performance told in the language of the new circus. It happened in 1882 in Warsaw that two daring entrepreneurs: Ludwik Norblin, who came from a Warsaw family of silver-plated metalware makers, and Teodor Werner, a goldsmith, co-worker and successor of Karol Malcz, bought the silver-plated metalware factory at Żelazna Street from the Buch family. They began building a large and modern factory there…
The factory is now up and running, from small production lines to the largest machines. It bustles with life, it has its secrets and stories of people working up a sweat to make the next delivery in time. Every movement of the workers is timed by the factory machinery like a metronome.
The performance puts you into a “trance” of factory life, with demonstrations of prop manipulation, juggling and acrobatics.
Retro fashion show
„Bluszcz” will carry the viewers to the streets of Warsaw from the past decades. The creators of the Group will reconstruct the outfits, taking into account their full diversity – they will present everyday, evening, ball, sports and occasional fashion. The retro fashion show is an excuse to share knowledge about fashion, the situation of women and their role in society, as well as about the values and good manners that were in force in the first half of the 20th century, and which are often forgotten today. It will be an unforgettable journey into the past.
The Bluszcz Group has been operating since 2009. The idea for its name came from the title of the women’s magazine “Bluszcz”, which was published in the years 1865-1939.
A play for children
“Mission Albertyna – Journey to the Future”
Albertyna Werner (née Norblin), in a time machine she built herself, sets off on a lonely mission to the present to save a factory threatened with destruction and find the family treasure. When she arrives, she is surprised by what she finds. She had expected a dilapidated ruin, but instead she found herself in a beautiful complex. Little viewers will help her understand the new reality and find a precious gem.
The show, directed by Kuba Nieścierow, is intended for children aged 4-11. It is based on an interactive monologue by Albertyna Werner (played by Anna Lipińska), who tells the story of Norblin Factory in a funny way. Riddles and quizes encourage young viewers to actively participate in the performance. The most active participants will receive small gifts related to Norblin Factory Museum.
