Saturday at Norblin Factory will be an exciting day for both children and those who love creative and active fun. From 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, the Plater Building on Level -1 will host Smart Kids Planet, offering a wide range of attractions. Children can try light painting during cyanotype workshops, create superhero masks, and participate in scooter races. Art enthusiasts can enjoy construction workshops with magnetic building blocks and create glitter tattoos as a memento of the fun. A special area for toddlers will feature a ball pit and sensory toys. Music lovers are invited to the Yamaha Smart Pianist zone, where everyone can enjoy playing the piano more with the Smart Pianist app, which offers additional features for managing the instrument and music when connected to a compatible Yamaha instrument.
Norblin Factory Museum will also have its own zone with historical curiosities, prize contests, and communal fun. In the evening, the Werner Passage will host a musical feast. At 7:00 PM, Nastia will perform, followed by the evening’s headliners – SMOLIK // KEV FOX featuring Natalia Przybysz and Tomek Ziętek at 8:00 PM. After the concert, from 10:00 PM, the After Party at Gimlet Live will feature DJ Envee and Carol Markovsky. The concert is free but tickets are required. Reservations can be made through the Norblin Factory app, with tickets available for download from September 9.
Anniversary Sunday, September 22
Sunday will be celebrated in a retro style. Visitors can take a guided tour of the Norblin Factory Museum, and at the Teodor Werner Passage, they will be transported back in time with unique attractions. Children can make retro purses, elegant bow ties, and headbands. A highlight of the day will be the vintage bicycle exhibition from the first half of the 20th century, prepared by the Stowarzyszenie Rowery Zabytkowe Zabrze. Among the exhibits will be bicycles used for daily rides and those that witnessed long journeys and sports challenges. A special feature of the exhibition will be a collection of antique bicycle lights, including candle lamps, oil lamps, and early electric lights.
The culmination of Sunday’s celebrations will be the historical show “Time Machine,” also presented by the Stowarzyszenie Rowery Zabytkowe Zabrze. The retro fashion show will be a unique opportunity to see original clothing and accessories from the 1930s and learn about the history of fashion that shaped today’s trends. Additionally, guests can visit the unique educational station “Pucybut Dobrolin” to discover the secrets of past elegance and see how shoes were cared for to restore their shine. This is not only a historical curiosity but also a chance to experience the authentic atmosphere of a bygone era when attention to detail was paramount.
The retro Sunday will end at 5:00 PM with a concert by Gang Tango featuring Kaja Mianowana and a dance performance by a master couple in the Werner Passage. As with the Saturday concert, reservations are required through the Norblina Factory app.
