On 6 October, the autumn edition of the wonderful musical event Jazz & More MOXO Warsaw Festival will begin.
A musical experience will be provided by legends of Polish jazz during ten concert evenings. There will also be foreign accents, such as a performance by Melissa Aldana, a Grammy-nominated Chilean saxophonist who will perform in a quartet. Another interesting ethnic accent will be the performance of Marcin Wyrostek with his Ethno Coloriage project.
The festival consists of ten different musical journeys, through which we will be guided by Tomasz Tłuczkiewicz – long-time director of the cult festival Jazz Jamboree and Jazz nad Odrą, former long-time president of the Polish Jazz Association, a well-known radio journalist, manager and music producer, jazz promoter and entertainer. The festival will begin on 6 October with a concert by Aga Zaryan, and will close on 8 December with a performance by Marek Napiórkowski.
The entire programme of the Jazz & More MOXO Warsaw Festival is guided by the motto – ‘unity in diversity’, which indicates the values conveyed during this musical series. The diversity of artists, sounds, cultures and arrangements will combine to create a single musical space for connoisseurs of jazz and more.
The organiser of the festival, the MOXO restaurant and music club, located in the revitalised building of the former Foundry Hall of the Norblin Factory, invites you to enjoy a dose of musical sensations.
