Retro Warsaw – a journey to the city of 100 years ago.

The ‘Retro Warsaw’ exhibition at Art Box Experience offers a unique opportunity to experience the pre-war capital as it was in the 1920s and 1930s: a vibrant, multicultural city. The everyday life of old Warsaw, digitally recreated in 4K quality, is brought to life thanks to immersive technology combining image, sound and space.
The exhibition was created in collaboration with Warsaw-based experts and historians, including Jerzy S. Majewski, who authored the exhibition guide. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the charm of cobbled streets, horse-drawn carriages, cafés, iconic buildings such as Prudential and PASTA, and the vibrant inhabitants of the pre-war city. The photographs were coloured by Mariusz Zając (“Historical Colors”), and the musical setting was created by Jan Młynarski, an artist and researcher of the sounds of the capital.

360° projections will enable viewers to immerse themselves in a world that will stimulate all their senses and reveal the cultural richness and rhythm of life a century ago.

The exhibition will be open from 15 June to 9 September, on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays, at Art Box Experience.

Alfons Mucha – The Magic of Art Nouveau

The exhibition ‘Alfons Mucha – The Magic of Art Nouveau’ is an opportunity to immerse yourself in the extraordinary aesthetics of one of the most important artists of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. His works – full of elegance, flowing lines and feminine silhouettes surrounded by floral ornaments – capture the spirit of the Belle Époque.

Created by Grand Palais Immersif in collaboration with the Alfons Mucha Foundation, the exhibition showcases the diversity of the artist’s work, from posters and paintings to graphic and architectural designs and jewellery. Thanks to the cooperation with Mucha’s family and the use of modern audiovisual, scent and interactive technologies, the exhibition becomes a multi-sensory experience.

Visitors can smell the scent inspired by Guerlain’s 1900 perfume for Sarah Bernhardt, hear the artist’s own voice and an original soundtrack from Studio Radio France.

The exhibition is open from 28 March to 14 September. From 18 June to 13 September, it is open from Wednesday to Saturday. Last day: Sunday, 14 September.

Romantic Chopin – a multisensory journey in the footsteps of the genius of Romanticism

This autumn, Art Box Experience is proud to present a unique exhibition entitled ‘Romantic Chopin’, created in collaboration with the esteemed Fryderyk Chopin National Institute. The premiere is scheduled for 19 September. The exhibition provides a comprehensive exploration of the composer’s life and work, showcasing his journey from Żelazowa Wola, through Warsaw and Vienna, to the Parisian bohemian scene. The exhibition is based on letters, music and historical context, and is divided into eight themed zones where visitors will meet George Sand and Liszt, among others.

Attractions will include an immersive room with a 360° projection, an interactive musical sculpture and an interactive tree with Chopin’s mentors and inspirations, created with the help of AI. Platige Image has also developed a VR experience, offering a visual journey from the piano to the cosmos.
Along with the pre-sale of tickets (starting on 18 June), a competition has been launched with a prize of two tickets to the first concert of the winners of the 19th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition on 21 October at the Grand Theatre – National Opera in Warsaw.
