Alfons Mucha
The exhibition – Alfons Mucha – The Magic of Secession will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in the fascinating Art Nouveau aesthetics of one of the most important artists of the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. His paintings, full of elegance, beauty and romanticism, show women surrounded by characteristic plant ornaments and soft, wavy lines. Created by the Grand Palais Immersif – one of the most innovative cultural spaces in France, in cooperation with the Alfons Mucha Foundation / Mucha Foundation, it presents the different faces of the artistic achievements of the Art Nouveau master and allows visitors to explore the atmosphere of the Belle Époque and feel the spirit of those times. Thanks to cooperation with the artist’s family and the use of modern audiovisual, interactive and olfactory technologies, the exhibition is an extraordinary, multi-sensory experience that brings us closer to Mucha’s life and work and allows us to understand his philosophy and the influence he had on contemporary culture.

Our education department ensures that they can not only marvel at the beautiful paintings, but also, gain new experiences and learn something new.
