New Flavours Join Poland’s Biggest Food Zone
Three new concepts have opened in Warsaw’s Norblin Factory: Bibi’s, the Bakery, and Wine First. They have joined the largest food zone in Poland, which spans almost 10,000 sq. m. Each new concept offers a different range of flavours and experience, and all perfectly complement the existing offer of the complex on Żelazna Street. The new concepts have taken up the last available space in the Verit building located on the main street of the Ludwik Norblin complex.
Bibi’s Cafe & Bar is an 180 sq. m concept with an interior reminiscent of cult restaurants in London and Paris. Visitors can enjoy aromatic coffee and brunch classics at all times of the day, including organic eggs prepared in a dozen different ways, exquisite salads, roast cauliflower with walnut puree, and plump pancakes with fresh berry sauce. At the end of the day, Bibi’s offers a wide range of cocktails based on fresh juices, biodynamic wine, and mimosas served with ice cream on a stick made from fresh orange juice. The owner pays great attention to the quality of the products: everything is healthy, provided by local suppliers, and the meals are composed to make guests feel light and at ease, in line with the restaurant’s slogan: feel good food. Bibi’s Café & Bar is open 7 days a week from morning until late in the evening.
“We wanted Bibi’s to be a meeting place whose servers smile and interiors are cosy, created with attention to every detail, where guests feel looked after. Getting together to taste new flavours, enjoy endless toasts and conversations accompanied by freshly baked bread from around the corner and food made from the best products – this sums up our concept. Bibi’s was born out of a passion for healthy food and sharing the best of the all-day-long formula. In the morning, we wake you up with the smell of coffee; at noon, we refresh you with freshly squeezed juices; and in the evening, we offer our original cocktails,” said Marta Motz, the founder and owner of Bibi’s.
The Bakery, headed by owner Adam Rzeźnik, offers the Norblin Factory’s employees and guests the perfect start to the day. The Bakery is a new artisan bakery concept with a wide range of sourdough bread, baguettes, challahs, croissants, buns, rolls, and many other baked goods: everything that tastes best in the morning. All products contain only natural ingredients and are created entirely on site. The Bakery combines creativity and years of experience, which the concept owner has gained not only in Poland but also abroad. The Bakery occupies a cosy 70 sq. m space but the smell of freshly baked bread and other gluten delicacies spreads throughout the area.
“In baking as in life, it is important to constantly expand your knowledge and look at the world with wide-open eyes. This philosophy is followed at our place which not only offers excellent quality unique baked goods but also creates relationships and promotes natural baking, brings people together and gives them joy, while the friendly atmosphere makes customers feel at home,” said Adam Rzeźnik, owner and manager of the Bakery.
The Bakery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and also on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The other new place on the food map of Norblin Factory is the Wine First wine bar. The name of the place is self-explanatory: it is all about good wine, although guests can also taste snacks which go well with it. This nice 150 sq. m interior is filled with natural materials and colours, wood, stone and plants. The creator of the wine bar is Arkadiusz Kurowski, one of the most awarded sommeliers in Poland. He has been named Sommelier of the Year 2022, Vice-Champion of Polish Sommeliers 2021, and Court of Master Sommelier Advanced.
“We have created Wine First as a place for everyone. The wine list includes wines that follow current trends – low intervention, biodynamic, orange, unfiltered, as well as classics from well-known regions and respected producers. The experience is complemented by a friendly yet professional service and a beautiful interior. Food sharing and comfort food best capture our food concept,” said Arkadiusz Kurowski.
You can come to Wine First simply for a glass of wine but you can also hold an evening event, such as a birthday party or a business meeting. The wine bar is open from Tuesday to Sunday from 5 p.m.
The total space dedicated to food concepts occupies nearly 10,000 sq. m at the Norblin Factory and it is the largest food zone in Poland. A total of 38 food concepts operate within the complex, led by the Food Town. An area of 3,200 sq. m houses 23 outlets inspired by trends from all over the world in four historic halls, while the fifth hall, Gimlet Live, is dedicated to entertainment and cultural events. It also houses 6 unique bars, each with a different offer.
