Exhibition “Miasto Wolę” at Norblin Factory

In the Plater building on level +1, visitors can admire an extraordinary painting exhibition by Iwona Skowron-Dobrowolska, titled “Miasto Wolę”. This art invites you to embark on a journey through the colorful urban space. The exhibition will be open to visitors until March 4th. The artist, a graduate of the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, presents cities in a new, vibrant light through her work.

The Wola district, where the artist spent her childhood, as well as the cities she has had the opportunity to visit, became her inspiration for creating a series of paintings in which she intertwines spaces and perspectives, breaking the grayness into hundreds of colors. It is a perspective on urban reality that encourages reflection and a fresh rediscovery of the city.

“Cities have different characteristics, yet in all parts of the globe, people want to be together, for better or worse. Hermits have never dominated social customs – so let’s enjoy the paintings of Iwona Skowron-Dobrowolska, as they capture the atmosphere of the future. Without media scandals, without imitations of social or political engagements, but naturally and with focused reflection on what is important now and what may be important tomorrow,” notes Prof. Rafał Strent from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

We invite you to visit the exhibition and immerse yourself in a unique, artistic vision of the city!
