On September 13th, a new and extraordinary multisensory exhibition—DALÍ CYBERNETICS—will launch at Art Box Experience in Fabryka Norblina. This is Poland’s first modern, immersive exploration of Salvador Dalí’s works, offering his interpretation of parallel universes, quantum physics, the fourth dimension, sacred geometry, and DNA sequencing. DALÍ CYBERNETICS is an exciting journey through Dalí’s most famous works from an entirely new perspective. The artist’s poetic and dreamlike universe merges with large-scale projections, interactive installations, holograms, virtual reality, and artificial intelligence. This deep dive into the mind of the Catalonian artist reveals how the genius of his works stemmed from an open, provocative, and scientific way of thinking, as well as a fascination with the theory of relativity and the fourth dimension.
This year marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of the artist, renowned for his eccentric style both in art and in everyday life. While everyone recognizes the iconic mustache of the Catalan artist, few realize the true source of his genius.
The artist’s mindset and selected works, including The Persistence of Memory, Galatea of the Spheres, and Burning Giraffes, can be explored at the immersive exhibition “Dalí Cybernetics,” open to visitors from September 13th to December 31st, 2024.
The project was created in collaboration with the Gala-Salvador Dalí Foundation, which conducted extensive research specifically for this exhibition, focusing on integrating the artist’s works into the digital art world. The exhibition’s curators, Imma Fondevila and Anna Pou, closely collaborated with the Dalí Foundation’s research center on the artist’s oeuvre. The art installations, spanning 800 square meters, are the work of Layers of Reality and Exhibition Hub, while the exhibition’s soundtrack was composed by Rafel Plana.
