Our complex on Żelazna Street in Warsaw is turning four! The September celebration has become a tradition – full of music, fun and free, unique attractions for the whole family. This year’s birthday weekend will take place on 20 and 21 September and, as always, will fill Norblin Factory with an unforgettable atmosphere. The slogan for the celebration is: ‘We want you to have fun!’ – and the organisers have made sure that there is something for everyone.
Birthday Saturday – 20 September
The day will begin with attractions for the youngest visitors. From 12:00 to 16:00 in the Plater building, children and their parents can enjoy animations and competitions prepared in cooperation with Smart Kids Planet – an element that attracts hundreds of participants every year.
At the same time, the youngest visitors can enjoy activities organised by Norblin Factory Museum, including Kamishibai theatre with the story “Adventure in the Factory”, and as part of the “Master’s Mark: Press and Stamp”workshop, participants will try their hand at stamping metal plates and learn about authentic stamps and their meaning. An additional attraction will be the field game ‘Find the Mark!’, which will lead guests in the footsteps of former masters throughout the Museum.
Art Box Experience has also prepared a birthday surprise, inviting visitors to an immersive exhibition Romantic Chopin. Guests can enjoy two free guided tours (at 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.), each for 30 people. Participation is possible after prior registration.
From 6 p.m., a parade with wind instruments will begin at Norblin Factory, and in the evening, the highlight of the programme: a free concert by WODECKI / PATER (free tickets available via Norblin Factory app). This is a project that won the hearts of audiences at the Wodecki Twist and Męskie Granie festivals. Performers will include Paulina Przybysz, Natalia Grosiak, Wiktor Waligóra, Wiktor Dyduła, Dawid Tyszkowski and Piotr Odoszewski. The concert will also be broadcast on screens in streets of Norblin Factory and in selected venues.
After the concert, the party will move to Hala Gimlet LIVE, where an afterparty with Aelin & DJ Gris will last until 2:00 a.m.
Retro Sunday – 21 September
The second day of the celebrations will be a meeting with the history and atmosphere of old Warsaw. From 12:00 to 16:00, Pasaż Wernera will host retro attractions, and Norblin Factory Museum will offer free guided tours every 20 minutes – no registration required.
A real treat awaits participants in the new entertainment space – Art Box Metaverse. Visitors will enter Hotel Dracula – a spectacular VR adventure, in which Daniel Olbrychski lent his voice to the protagonist. Two free admissions await those interested: at 3:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (10 places in each group). Advance registration is also required here.
Birthday guests can also enjoy parades and mini concerts of wind instruments, as well as a unique show entitled “Fashion in Old Cinema” prepared by the Zabrze Vintage Bicycles Association. It is an extraordinary journey into the world of pre-war cinema, during which iconic figures such as Eugeniusz Bodo and Jadwiga Smosarska will come to life on stage, complemented by costumes, music and scenes from the era.
The finale will feature a concert by the Warsaw Dance Combo combined with a dance party.
Norblin Factory’s birthday is more than just an event – it is a tradition that has become a permanent fixture in Warsaw’s calendar and an opportunity to celebrate together in a space where history meets modernity. The sounds of old hits will once again be heard at Żelazna Street, and the Norblin Factory will become a place full of energy, joy and shared experiences.
