Norblin Factory is children-friendly and welcomes young visitors every day. It offers special areas created just for the youngest visitors. In the complex at Żelazna 51/53, children learn through play and play by learning. It’s best to plan a longer visit because we offer attractive tour packages for schools and families with children.
Smart Kids Planet
Smart Kids Planet is the first innovative and interactive Smart Play Center in Poland for children aged 0-10, which fills the gap between playrooms and science centers. Here, in 9 zones of smart play, the world is experienced with all the senses, fantasy knows no limits, and learning is pure pleasure. All this to develop future competences in the youngest children, teach cooperation, familiarize them with the latest technologies and shape good, ecological habits. In 2023, Smart Kids Planet was appreciated by the Committee for the Protection of Children’s Rights, receiving the main prize in the Child-Friendly World competition in the Child-Friendly Places category.
Art Box Experience
Creatively with children – a world of colors and sounds, a power of experiences that stimulate all the senses! Art Box Experience is the perfect place for wise and moving family entertainment. In our space, we take viewers to the colorful and symbolic world of artists, we take them on a journey deep into the oceans, inside a volcano or to the streets of pre-war Warsaw! We experience this journey with all our senses – we are surrounded by extraordinary images and sounds. Visiting the exhibition is learning and great fun in one! Children and caregivers will discover something extraordinary in this experience, because “it is one thing to know and another to see.”
Our exhibitions have been seen by tens of thousands of people because they are a visual feast, enlivening the imagination and stimulating creativity. We conduct workshops for schools and kindergartens, adapted to the core curriculum of the Ministry of National Education, and family visits. A visit to this space, filled with image and sound, is a wonderful and developing experience.
KINOGRAM cinema
KinoGram Cinema has 4 cosy screening rooms equipped with comfortable sofas, armchairs and tables. The movies on offer include many cartoons and feature films for younger audiences. Children and young people will particularly appreciate the top-quality technological solutions combined with the opportunity to watch their favourite characters on the big screen while munching on delicious snacks. You can also book KinoGram screening rooms for a private event, such as a birthday party or watching a football game together.
Norblin Factory Museum
Discover more than 240 years of incredible history dating back to the time of Poland’s last king, Stanisław August Poniatowski, and his butler Franciszek Ryx. Children have several options to learn more about this two-hectare site in the heart of Warsaw and the people around it. In addition to individual tours, the Museum hosts museum lessons for schoolchildren and weekend workshops for younger kids. This format engages young visitors through play and shows them how the factory functioned and what it produced. The events include a tour in the company of the factory’s former owner, Theodor Werner, as well as puzzles and riddles, and even a class on how to make your own punch tool.
Carousel
One of the Norblin Factory’s favourite attractions is this unique safari-style carousel. It is the only carousel of its kind in the city, created by the iconic French company Concept 1900, supplier of the world’s biggest theme parks including Disneyland in Paris, Asterix Park (France) and Motiongate Park (United Arab Emirates). The carousel located in the roofed Theodor Werner Alley features sculptures of wild animals. They are all colourful and hand-painted, moving to the rhythm of music: they sway and gallop. A ride on a giraffe, elephant or leopard is such great fun!
Slide
A free slide which is more than 13 metres long take visitors to level -1 of the complex, right next to the Smart Kids Planet. This is a perfect choice for everyone who enjoys alternative ways of getting around. With its starting point on level 0 in the Plater building, the slide offers an alternative to the escalator and the panoramic lift. It is without doubt the most fun way to reach the lower level of the complex. The tube is 13.25 metres long, almost a metre wide and over 5.5 metres high. The weight limit is 150 kg so visitors can use the new attraction alone and in pairs. Children under the age of seven must be accompanied by an adult during the slide.
