From 13 February, Art Box Experience at Norblin Factory presents “Leonardo da Vinci versus Michelangelo. The Duel of Renaissance Geniuses”—one of the most technologically advanced immersive productions created by the international studio Layers of Reality. The exhibition combines art, history, image and sound to create an engaging narrative about two creators who forever changed the way we think about art and humanity.
The exhibition tells the story of a dialogue—and at times a rivalry—between Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo. Although they lived in the same era and worked for the same patrons, they represented completely different approaches to creation. The immersive format allows visitors to step into these two visions of the Renaissance and experience them both intellectually and emotionally.
The exhibition consists of eight immersive rooms covering a total area of approximately 800 m². Visitors move through spaces filled with 2D and 3D projections, interactive installations and a 360° VR experience, discovering the historical context, biographies of the artists and their creative methods. The finale invites audiences to make a symbolic choice—between two visions of Renaissance genius.
The exhibition is aimed at visitors interested in art, history and contemporary forms of visual storytelling.
An integral part of the project is an extensive educational programme designed for kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools. Original educational lessons, developed around the immersive narrative of the exhibition, allow students to explore the Renaissance through experience, observation and active interpretation of artworks. The programme focuses on the lives and work of Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, presenting their achievements against the backdrop of the cultural transformations of the era, while highlighting the relevance of Renaissance ideas in the context of contemporary art and science.
