Since August 20, Norblin Factory has been hosting “Faces of Decision Makers” – an artistic project by Orivène, an independent Polish luxury skincare brand, and photographer Masza Kubiak, dedicated to the people behind everyday decisions, responsibilities and the roles they take on.
The exhibition features 22 black-and-white portraits of people from the worlds of business and leadership. These are not conventional business portraits – the photographs are unretouched, and each is accompanied by a personal quote from a conversation with the person featured in the project. At the heart of the exhibition is the human being – their experiences, emotions and pressure, as well as the way everyday decisions affect the condition of the body and skin.
Every decision leaves a mark
The title of the exhibition refers to a question: what happens to a person who makes decisions every day that affect not only their own path, but also other people and entire organisations? The project draws attention to the less visible side of responsibility – stress, the pace of life, lack of recovery and experiences that do not end when a decision is made, but can leave their mark over time, including on the face and skin.
The large-format photographs are presented in a minimalist setting. Each of the 11 protagonists is featured on a separate panel with black-and-white images and a selected quote. This format invites visitors not only to pause in front of the photographs, but also to reflect on their own choices and experiences.
“Faces of Decision Makers” is the first edition of the project presented at Norblin Factory.
